Fishing: Severn Lake

Severn Lake has our fly-in outpost and is a special destination for your Canadian fishing vacation. This outpost camp sleeps eight people in two separate cabins. A third cabin houses a huge kitchen that overlooks the lake where you can gather to tell your fish stories each night. This area is surrounded by prime fishing spots where the walleye and northern pike are especially attracted to the weed beds nearby. The best fishermen know what that means! You will enjoy visiting the neighborhood scenic spot at Severn Rapids; a great place for a day trip. You will want to pack a picnic lunch, or bring your fishing lines and catch your own.

Reliable fourteen foot Lund boats and new 8hp Yamaha motors are waiting for you at Severn outpost. Enjoy fifteen miles of Lake a mile and a half at its widest point. Inside you will find all the facilities you need for cooking, including propane refrigerators, full size ranges, freezers, grill, fish cookers, and hot/cold running water. The lake has lots of underwater structure, making it great for walleye fishing. There are also two large waterfalls: one coming into the lake, and the other draining out. This lake is also known for its super northern pike fishing as well as walleye.
