Fishing: Apps Lake
Apps Lake is a fourteen mile long narrow lake near the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario. Apps Lake is near Meddick Lake, which is fifteen miles long and full of islands and channels. Both are prime fishing areas featuring three to five pound walleyes, northern pikes, and lake trout.
This outpost was remodeled in the summer of 1999 and can accommodate eight people. The cabin features a screened in porch so you can relax outside, and still be protected from the elements surrounded by knotty pine. Apps Lake is a secluded lake and you are guaranteed privacy. In fact, your cabin is the only one on the whole lake! You will have thrity miles of water all to yourself. A short portage will take you into Meddick Lake where two boats and motors wait for you, and the walleye fishing is prime. Northern and trout fishing is also good in Meddick Lake.
